No Alibi is in the books. It looks like most had a good time. There was some exponential scoring, here and there. Congratulations to Mike Daily and Steve Pfau for bringing home the overall win with a score of 68. That is less that 1 point per control. Congrats also to the equipped team of Ben Thompson and Eric Hobbs with a score of 92, good for 4th overall. First SOP was Paul Westwick and Darsi Sullivan with a score of 590. First Novice was Man Qui and Yi Jin, with a score of 425.

We had a nice smooth event; just the way a rallymaster likes it. Steve Roberts and Don Gibson came within 1 second of a perfect score. 1st Masters Ben Thompson and Eric Hobbs put up a very impressive score of 16. 1st SOP also put up a very impressive score of 28. A nice run, all the way around.
Thanks to the workers, Vasco DePinna and Zach Jackson for working registration, Start and Sweep; Mike Workman and Scott Margerum for Checkpoints 1 and 2; Mike Daily and Steve Pfau for Checkpoint 3 and checking the calculations; Dave Treen for Pace, Dash Plaques and Trophies. Everyone helped on the checkout. Events like this are a team effort and we would be hard pressed to put them on without a good team.
Wow! What a great rally! Friday night featured an excellent event rallymastered by Curt Thompson. We got the added bonus of a dark and mildly stormy night. It rained and the roads were nice and wet. Part of the art of rallying is dealing with the elements and we certainly had some elements to deal with on Friday. Leg 2 was my favorite, blasting down a windy narrow road to nowhere out by Carnation. It was twisty and in the damp dark conditions, staying on time was challenging, yet still doable. Loads of fun! Be sure to check out the Masters score put up by Hobbs/ Thompson and the nice SOP score by Weaver/Weaver. Here are the results:
