Well, the long off-season is coming to a close as we kick of the 2017 rally season with the April Friday Nighter. As you all know, the weather has been extremely wet, and it has wreaked havoc on some of our favorite rally roads. John Humphrey is the rallymaster this month, and he selected are really cool course, only to have some of the roads close. So he altered the course, only to have some more roads close. He altered it once again, and we checked the rally out Friday night. The course is really fun and has a couple of easy traps just to make things interesting. The rally is about two hours long and finishes at Ferrelli’s Pizza in Maple Valley. Http://farrellispizza.com/locations/farrellis-maple-valley-wa/. It will be a fun run!
Registration for this novice oriented event opens at 6:45 PM at the Eastgate Park & Ride Parking lot in Bellevue (14200 SE Eastgate Way). The drivers meeting is at 7:10 and first car out will be 7:31. The entry fee is $20. The “bring a new team and your entry is free” special continues, so invite some friends and enjoy free entry.
Come on out and join us, and bring your friends!

There is no special equipment, but you should have a pen, a clipboard, a digital watch with a seconds spot (translation, your phone clock alone usually isn’t enough) and a good but non distracting to the driver map light. Make sure you have read through the generals https://nwrally.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/NWRCGenerals_reader.pdf and have a copy with you in the car.

And also some sort of light (small flashlight, maplight, etc) to read by.
