Novice Class Scoring

1st Place… 5pts
2nd Place… 3pts
3rd Place… 2pts
All Others… 1pt

To receive points teams must finish the event, turn in their completed score card (or upload Richta CP scores), and return their magnetic car number if the event was using such. Drivers and navigators accrue points as a team. Standings will be determined using the team’s best 5 results out of the 6 events in the 2026 NWRC Season Series. This allows competitors to miss one event without penalty.

Ties for the Novice Championship trophy places will be broken using the first effective criteria:

  • The team completing the most series events
  • The team with the most 1st Place finishes
  • The team with the most 2nd Place finishes
  • The team with the most 3rd Place finishes

If none of these criteria break the tie, matching trophies for the tied positions will be awarded. In order to receive an earned trophy, winners must be present or be represented at the finish of the last event of the 2026 series.

SOP Class Scoring

1st Place… 10pts                            5th Place… 4pts
2nd Place… 8pts                            6th Place… 3pts
3rd Place… 6pts                             7th Place… 2pts
4th Place… 5pts                             8th Place… 1pt

Drivers and navigators will accrue point individually, with separate trophies for each. There will be no “Team” trophies awarded in the SOP Championship. The depth of trophies distributed in this series will be dependent upon the number of qualified entrants. All events will be counted. SOP Championship contestants who work an event instead of competing will earn 10pts but may only earn this once.

Ties for the SOP Championship trophy places will be broken using the first effective criteria:

  • The driver or navigator with the most 1st Place finishes
  • The driver or navigator with the most 2nd Place finishes
  • The driver or navigator with the most 3rds Place finishes

If none of these criteria break the tie, matching trophies for the tied positions will be awarded. In order to receive an earned trophy, winners must be present or be represented at the finish of the last event of the 2026 series. There is no mandatory advancement of the SOP Champions into the MASTERS class.  However, if you have won two SOP Championships you are no longer eligible for points in further SOP Championships.

Master Class Scoring

The Masters class championship will be run in the same manner as the SOP class described above, with the exception that worker points may be earned more than once.
