Yet another Friday Night Rally bites the dust to the Corona Virus. I so miss driving around out there. August is a planned month off and we are, so far, sticking with that. Maybe by September, we will be able to do something. My optimism is waning. But we all want to go back….

For the third month in a row, the Covid 19 shutdown claims another Friday Nighter. It looks like we may be able to have a rally this summer, but the situation is still uncertain. Cascade Sports Car Club in Oregon is putting on Saturday rallies. They are social distancing rallies with no interaction with the organizers. Registration and payment are online. They mail you the route instructions and the checkpoints are operated by a phone app, and they email you the results. We are looking into emulating that. In the meantime, we are hoping that the vaccine that is being developed works and we can all get back to rallying the old fashioned way.

Covid-19 continues to impede our rally season, along with other activities. For May, with no restaurants open to finish a checkout and no certainty that one will be open for the night of the rally, we again had to cancel the rally. We are hoping for June and we will let you know as soon as we know.
Hi, all! John has pretty nice course all picked out, after the February floods receded. Now COVID-19 has reared its ugly head and we are following the guidelines put in place by the state authorities. We are cancelling the April Friday Nighter with the hopes of running the event later in the year.
Our schedule is available here. As we did last year, we are taking the month of August off.
