June Friday Nighter
This coming Friday, June 12th, NWRC presents the June Friday Nighter Rally, “Looking for Bigfoot”. This is the one rally that is usually in all daylight. Some of you may see the last leg in the dark. The course makes a scenic run down the rally valley, spiced up with a few low value course following traps. Mostly, it will be a fun run and the speed limits on the roads we’re using let us just keep moving along.
Registration for this novice oriented event opens at 6:45 PM at the Eastgate Park & Ride Parking lot in Bellevue (14200 SE Eastgate Way). The drivers meeting is at 7:10 and first car out will be 7:31. The entry fee is $20. Don’t forget that we’re running the “bring a new team and your entry is free” special. The rally finishes at Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria, 715 NW Gilman Blvd in Issaquah. Come on out and join us for a good time, and bring your friends!
No Alibi Results
No Alibi is in the books. It looks like most had a good time. There was some exponential scoring, here and there. Congratulations to Mike Daily and Steve Pfau for bringing home the overall win with a score of 68. That is less that 1 point per control. Congrats also to the equipped team of Ben Thompson and Eric Hobbs with a score of 92, good for 4th overall. First SOP was Paul Westwick and Darsi Sullivan with a score of 590. First Novice was Man Qui and Yi Jin, with a score of 425.
