This coming Friday, September 14, NWRC will present the last rally of the Summer, “Seven Minutes after Sunset.” The Rallymaster will be Kelly Smith. We ran the checkout last week and found the course entertaining, with good roads, a few easy traps and a good pizza at the finish. It was the first time since April that I had to use the headlights all rally long. Rallying in the dark is less scenic, and adds to the challenge. Everyone on the checkout seemed to enjoy the course. Registration for this novice oriented event opens at 6:45 PM at the Eastgate Park & Ride Parking lot in Bellevue (14200 SE Eastgate Way). The drivers meeting is at 7:10 and first car out will be 7:31. Car Zero is out at 7:30, 7 minutes after sunset…. The entry fee is $20. Don’t forget that we’re running the “bring a new team and your entry is free” special. Come on out and join us for a good time, and bring your friends!
