Well, it is back to school time and also time for the September Friday Night Rally, on September 9th. Our rallymaster this month is none other than the Grand Poobah himself, NWRC President John Humphrey. John has written a good many rallies over the years, and leans toward fun roads and longish rallies. A South-End dweller, John’s rallies usually go South. This one is no different and will end in Maple Valley at Ferrelli’s Pizza (https://farrellispizza.com/locations/farrellis-maple-valley-wa/). Because of our dwindliing manpower we will be using both manned and DIY Controls.

Registration for this novice-oriented event opens at 6:45 PM at the Eastgate Park & Ride Parking lot in Bellevue (14200 SE Eastgate Way). The drivers meeting is at 7:10 and first car out will be 7:31. The entry fee is $25. Come on out and join us for a good time. Bring your friends!

“No Signals, No Problems”

The July Friday Nighter is being authored by Jack Heppes. Jack has a long history of putting on driver’s events, having written some 8 or 10 Sno-git rallies, all of which featured no traps and were a load of fun. I have not pinned Jack down about traps, but being that we are all a little rusty, I expect him to take it easy on us at a minimum.

June is historically a busy month for us, and we are almost back to normal this year. The following weekend on Friday, June 17th, PSRC presents the June Friday Nighter, our first Friday Nighter of the Season. We moved it to the third week because No Alibi was already planned for the second week and the distance between the two rally start locations made holding both on the same weekend impractical.
