Running Equipped? Raise Your Hand!
We’re not trying to discourage it. Simply put, no teams registered for Friday Nighters in the Equipped (EQP) class in the last couple of years. There was discussion of eliminating the class definition from the General Instructions but we elected to retain it. You’re welcome to enter/run in this class!
We also want to save the expense of making trophies for an empty class. For 2025, the Council’s policy is to only make Friday Nighter trophies for the Equipped class if notified ahead of time that one or more teams will be running in EQP.
March Madness, Meet April Anticipation
In just two weeks, the NWRC 2025 Friday Nighter season begins, when Puget Sound Rally Club presents “Sprung Spring” on April 11th.
Rallymaster Dave Treen describes it as “a 2 hour driving event with no intentional traps” which sounds perfect for waking rally skills from winter hibernation.
Don’t forget to grab the updated General Instructions new for 2025.
Season Championships will be run for Novice, Seat-Of-Pants, and Masters classes. Run the April Friday Nighter to establish yourself as point leader! Note that due to the six-way tie for 1st place in the 2024 Novice championship, all participants remain eligible to compete as Novices in the 2025 championship.
2025 Season Standings
As we go into the heart of Summer, the Novice and Masters standings are wide open. Any Novice team can still win it, even those that haven’t run yet this season. In Masters, Juan has a distinct lead over the other drivers, but half the field could still overtake. In SOP, the Huffingtons have shown up every month and performed consistently well. Mathematically, the Haydons still have a chance to reach 1st place, but it will take a both skill and luck.

Points in green are worker points. If an SOP or Masters competitor works an event in a role that prohibits them from competing, worker points are given.
