2025 Season Standings

February 15, 2025 By Mike Daily Leave a Comment

(Rules)

Congratulations to our 2025 season champions.

Although they had the same total points, Doug Gordon won 1st MAS Navigator for having more 1st place finishes (2) than Derris Humphrey. Masters had the highest turnout of any class this year, and it is worth noting that the 2nd and 3rd place champion drivers and navigators bolstered their positions with worker points.

Points in green are worker points. If an SOP or Masters competitor works an event in a role that prohibits them from competing, worker points are given. SOP competitors can earn worker points once during the season. MAS competitors can earn points multiple times (10/5/2/1>). Worker points are earned for any contributing effort that prevents you from being eligible to enter an event for points, not just for the Rallymaster. This can be a great way to stay in the hunt if you have to miss an event. Participating in an event checkout, typically run a week or two before the actual event date, is an easy way to put 10 points on the board.

New to TSD rally? We have a short sample to try on your own. It gives a taste of how the instruction format works, along with explanations to guide you through it. The Example Rally takes about an hour to complete and does not use the Richta system.

There will be Friday Nighter season championships for 2025 for all paper classes (Novice, SOP, Masters).

Be sure to grab and review the updated 2025 NWRC General Instructions.

10/11 – Last Friday Nighter of the 2024 Season

October 7, 2024 By Mike Daily Leave a Comment

Join us Friday 10/11 for “Deja Vu” the final installment of 2024 NWRC season.

October was to be the second event in 2024 from Greg Hightower, who wrote June’s “Are You Sure?” However, life happens, and he had to rescind that plan.

NWRC president John Humphrey stepped up to close out the series. If anyone is counting, that makes three rallies this year with John as rallymaster.

October’s rally will end in Maple Valley.

Usual fine print:

$30 per car, cash only.

We’ll be using Richta GPS Checkpoints. Make sure you have the current version of Richta Competitor installed on your Android or iOS device. Unfamiliar with Richta? Read the Quick Guide.

Rules were updated at the start of 2024. Make sure you have the current Generals.

Rally starts in the NE corner of the Eastgate Park&Ride in Bellevue. Registration opens at 6:45pm. Address, map, directions, and other information here.

Two Weeks Away, Most Certainly.

A reminder that the next Friday Nighter in the NWRC 2024 season is just under two weeks out.

June 14th, NWRC presents “Are You Sure?“

Entry fee is $30, cash only.

Start location is the NE corner of Eastgate Park&Ride at 14300 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue, WA.

Schedule remains the same as always – registration opens at 6:45pm, car zero departs at 7:30.

This event will end in Covington.

It will use Richta GPS checkpoints. If you haven’t used this system previously, read up on it here.

NWRC revised the General Instructions (rules) during the off-season so supplemental rules are no longer necessary to use Richta checkpoints. Get the new rulebook.
