CSCC 2022 April Saturday Series Rally

Cascade Saturday Rally Series events are beginner friendly TSD (time-speed-distance) road rallies, lasting from three to four hours, starting and ending in the Portland area. TSD road rally is a game of precise driving and navigational course following. Saturday Series rallies are held on paved public roads, at or below legal speeds. Events may be tour-style or “lightly trapped” containing some easy rally challenges. 

Entry fee: 
$20 per car for CSCC members (either driver or navigator is a Cascade member)
$30 per car for non-members

2020 Season is a Bust!

You have probably guessed already, but the 2020 season will go down as the season that wasn’t. We have been looking at options, but because of the close quarters in the cars and the contact between organizers and competitors, plus the inability to gather at a finish location has side-tracked our ability to put on rally events. At this point, we can only wait to see what happens over the winter. With any luck, Covid 19 will morph into Covid 20 and become harmless. We are also kicking around touchless options. I, for one am being plagued with dreams of rallying and driving on gravel roads. Hopefully, we can resume doing that next year.

Keep the faith, stay safe and hopefully we will be able to Rally on!

July Friday Nighter — Cancelled

Yet another Friday Night Rally bites the dust to the Corona Virus. I so miss driving around out there. August is a planned month off and we are, so far, sticking with that. Maybe by September, we will be able to do something. My optimism is waning. But we all want to go back….
