Waddle it be?

May 23, 2026 By Mike Daily Leave a Comment

Just under three weeks to the NWRC June Friday Nighter on 6/12/26. Join us for If It Looks Like A Duck, presented by FOOTZ. This is the third event in the NWRC 2026 Championship.

Registration opens at 6:45pm in the NE corner of Eastgate Park&Ride. The entry fee is $30, cash only. Q&A meeting at 7:15pm. Cars depart beginning at 7:31pm.

Scoring will use the Richta GPS Checkpoint system, so be sure you have the app loaded on your smart phone. Checkout the Documents section of this site for the Richta introductory guide and also grab the NWRC General Instructions. There are no changes to the Generals for 2026, if you have a 2025 copy.

Raindrop Reveille

March 25, 2026 By Mike Daily 1 Comment

Registration is open for the 2026 Raindrop Rally.

Rallymaster Bill Walsh has put together a winding tour of Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties. At about 140 miles and 6.5 hours long, there are plenty of breaks along the way and lunch stop with EV charging available.

Go to RASC Raindrop Event Page to signup and get all the details.

This event will be SUNDAY, May 3rd. It will count towards the 2026 NWRC Season Championship. Please note that this is the only May event for NWRC. There will not be a Friday or Saturday event held the second weekend.

Raindrop will use the Richta GPS Checkpoint system.

Raindrop uses different General Instructions than the rest of the 2026 NWRC Weekend Series.

See you there!

March Madness, Meet April Anticipation

March 27, 2025 By Mike Daily Leave a Comment

In just two weeks, the NWRC 2025 Friday Nighter season begins, when Puget Sound Rally Club presents “Sprung Spring” on April 11th.

Rallymaster Dave Treen describes it as “a 2 hour driving event with no intentional traps” which sounds perfect for waking rally skills from winter hibernation.

Don’t forget to grab the updated General Instructions new for 2025.

Season Championships will be run for Novice, Seat-Of-Pants, and Masters classes. Run the April Friday Nighter to establish yourself as point leader! Note that due to the six-way tie for 1st place in the 2024 Novice championship, all participants remain eligible to compete as Novices in the 2025 championship.

2025 Season Standings

(Rules)

Congratulations to our 2025 season champions.

Although they had the same total points, Doug Gordon won 1st MAS Navigator for having more 1st place finishes (2) than Derris Humphrey. Masters had the highest turnout of any class this year, and it is worth noting that the 2nd and 3rd place champion drivers and navigators bolstered their positions with worker points.

Points in green are worker points. If an SOP or Masters competitor works an event in a role that prohibits them from competing, worker points are given. SOP competitors can earn worker points once during the season. MAS competitors can earn points multiple times (10/5/2/1>). Worker points are earned for any contributing effort that prevents you from being eligible to enter an event for points, not just for the Rallymaster. This can be a great way to stay in the hunt if you have to miss an event. Participating in an event checkout, typically run a week or two before the actual event date, is an easy way to put 10 points on the board.
